Chocolatina’s Chocolate

Satin Pie

Crust:

1 ½ c. Graham Cracker crumbs

1/3 c. Sugar

6 TBSP Butter, melted

Mix together and press into greased 9” pie pan. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes.

 

Filling:

1 c. (2 sticks) Butter, melted

1 ½ c. Sugar

6 oz/squares Unsweetened Chocolate, melted

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

½  tsp Salt

4 Eggs

Mix together butter, salt and sugar. Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one. Pour into pie shell. Chill until set.

 

Cream to top:

1 c Heavy Cream

2 TBSP. Sugar

½ tsp Vanilla Extract

1TBSP Cocoa Powder

 

Whip cream and vanilla until slightly thickened. Slowly add sugar and whip until stiff. Spread half evenly over top of pie. Sift cocoa in remaining cream and fold in. Place in pastry bag and pipe as desired. 

Top with chocolate shavings.
